LLM Model Developer

About the role

The LLM Model Developer will work with advanced large language models to improve their performance through instruction fine‑tuning and domain adaptation. The role focuses on enhancing model relevance for specific contexts while ensuring high‑quality outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Fine‑tune large language models with emphasis on instruction tuning and domain‑specific adaptation.
• Analyze model behavior, experiment with tuning techniques, and evaluate results.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate fine‑tuned models into applications.
• Monitor model outputs continuously to identify improvement opportunities.
• Document fine‑tuning processes, datasets, and results for reproducibility.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members on model‑tuning practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with large language models.
• At least 15 years of full‑time education.
• Ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and active participation in team discussions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks.
• Knowledge of model fine‑tuning strategies, including instruction tuning and domain adaptation.
• Programming in Python.
• Handling large datasets and data preprocessing for model training and evaluation.
