Liquidity Tester

About the role

The Liquidity Tester will ensure that liquidity core release requirements are correctly implemented and validated across multiple regulatory frameworks (PRA, EBA, HKMA, US FED, etc.). The role involves detailed data validation, creation of UAT dashboards, and handling queries from Reporting Operations to achieve successful release sign‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed data validation for all applicable liquidity returns and ensure accuracy across regulations.
• Develop and present UAT dashboards, walk through changes with Reporting Operations, and drive sign‑off discussions.
• Review finance‑wide manual adjustments and EUC’s, recommending automated solutions to reduce operational risk.
• Gather requirements from business users, support data‑lead planning, and resolve global data quality issues.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience in financial services testing, especially for internal and regulatory reporting.
• Experience working in a large banking or consulting organisation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of liquidity risk reports (PRA LCR, PRA NSFR, PRA110, ILM).
• Proficient in SQL for database interrogation.
• Experience with test tools such as Quality Centre and defect‑management processes.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project).
