Liquidity Reporting Compliance Analyst

About the role

This role sits within a first‑line compliance function, ensuring that liquidity reporting functionality, processes and outputs built by Finance Change meet regulatory criteria. The position works closely with Finance Change, Reporting Operations and the Liquidity Reporting Product Owner.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a BAU compliance function to verify that quarterly liquidity reporting releases meet regulatory instructions and policies.
• Collaborate with the Liquidity Reporting Product Owner to identify epics for compliance testing and document test cases.
• Manage a small team of dedicated testers, oversee test execution in the RADAR environment, and analyse results for compliance.
• Flag non‑compliant items, communicate findings to Reporting Ops and Report Owners, and provide rapid feedback for remedial builds.
• Develop and supervise two GCB‑5 testers, ensuring accurate script development, execution, and outcome validation.
• Engage senior stakeholders—including Product Owner, Reporting Owner, and Reporting Ops leads—to track compliance outcomes and delivery.

Required profile

• Deep subject‑matter expertise in liquidity reporting constructs such as LCR, NSFR and maturity ladders.
• Strong knowledge of core regulatory requirements, including reporting instructions, CRR regulations and internal liquidity policies.
• Ability to work at pace to maintain the quarterly delivery cadence and provide rapid compliance feedback.
• Proficiency in SQL to query data in cloud‑based test environments and validate logic against requirements.
• Experience with ETL documentation and SQL scripts to understand and explain data transformations.
• Understanding of banking products and complex trading structures such as repos, collateral swaps and derivatives.
