Liquidity Business Analyst

About the role

As a Liquidity Business Analyst you will support the bank’s liquidity management by improving how intraday cash positions and payment flows are monitored, forecasted, and controlled. You will translate Treasury and Operations needs into clear requirements, deliver data‑driven insights, and help meet regulatory and risk expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Treasury, Finance, Operations and Technology stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business requirements for intraday liquidity monitoring, reporting and controls.
• Map current‑state processes, identify automation opportunities, and design target‑state workflows, data flows and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with data teams to define data requirements, support MI dashboard development and validate regulatory reports.
• Assist project delivery teams with backlog management, sprint planning, UAT coordination and release readiness using Agile or hybrid methods.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of intraday liquidity regulations (e.g., BCBS 248) and ensure solutions comply with internal controls and external expectations.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations and change impacts to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for liquidity management.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BCBS 248.
• Ability to work closely with Treasury, Finance, Operations and Technology teams.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile or hybrid delivery methods.
