Linux Administrator (IT) – Dehradun

About the role

EbizON is seeking a proactive Linux Administrator to join its Dehradun office. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux‑based infrastructure while supporting internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain networks and servers.
• Upgrade, install, and configure new hardware and software to meet business objectives.
• Implement security protocols and procedures to mitigate potential threats.
• Create user accounts, manage access controls, and provide day‑to‑day IT support.
• Perform diagnostic tests and debugging to optimise system performance.
• Document processes, back up data, and manage archiving.
• Supervise and mentor junior IT staff on technical issues.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in IT administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Linux administration role.
• Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
