Line Manager

About the role

The Line Manager will supervise a compact team of skilled direct reports, develop financial forecasts and annual operating plans, and drive manufacturing performance through optimization of productivity, equipment utilization and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a compact team of skilled direct reports, ensuring productivity and precision.
• Develop comprehensive financial forecasts and annual operating plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Optimize manufacturing performance by improving productivity, equipment utilization, cost of non‑quality and overall efficiency.
• Provide ongoing training to operators on production processes and health & safety protocols.
• Ensure strict adherence to specifications, work instructions and tool requirements.
• Implement Lean projects and integrate New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Prepare and implement manufacturing production processes to deliver safe, compliant, high‑quality products.
• Innovate workflow methods to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Guide and mentor the team, contributing to employee selection, performance management, compensation, career development and operational oversight.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Vocational Education in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• No prior experience required with a Bachelor’s Degree, or a minimum of 7 + years experience with Vocational Education in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Preferred knowledge in Environment Health and Safety, Manufacturing Principles, Quality Monitoring, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain Management, People Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Process Engineering, KPI Management and Business Acumen.
