Lifecycle Marketing Manager (CRM & Reactivation)

About the role

Push notifications, email, and reactivation are Skillz's fastest revenue levers. This role owns the instrumentation, holdout‑based measurement, and journey ownership needed to turn owned channels into an accountable, optimized growth engine.

Key responsibilities

• Own email, push notification and in‑app messaging as a single lifecycle function – strategy, calendar, execution and measurement.
• Design and execute reactivation marketing end‑to‑end, including cohort definition, offer design, ROI gating, and exclusion rules.
• Configure CleverTap journeys, drive onboarding of new titles, and ensure measurement of incremental NGR, CTR, deliverability and opt‑out guardrails.
• Enforce messaging hygiene with frequency caps, mutually exclusive segments and contextual triggers.
• Partner with Analytics, Game LiveOps, GTM and Product teams for holdout design, feature adoption campaigns and messaging observability.

Required profile

• 6–10 years in lifecycle/CRM/retention marketing for a consumer mobile product, with direct ownership of a reactivation or win‑back program.
• Deep hands‑on experience with a lifecycle platform (CleverTap preferred; Braze, MoEngage, Iterable or WebEngage acceptable).
• Proven experience running holdout‑based incrementality measurement on messaging campaigns.
• Real‑money gaming industry experience and ownership of push notification deliverability and opt‑in economics.
