Legal Specialist – Commercial Contracts & Compliance (Remote)

About the role

The Compliers is seeking a Legal Specialist to support a leading marketing technology company. This full‑time, 100% remote position will work closely with People & Culture, Finance and senior leadership to provide practical, commercially‑focused legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Review, redline and negotiate Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, NDAs and other commercial contracts.
• Assess vendor, partner and technology licensing agreements.
• Draft and maintain standard contract templates.
• Provide legal support during client and partner negotiations, focusing on liability, indemnity, IP, confidentiality, data privacy and payment terms.
• Assist with contract management and ongoing compliance matters.
• Offer employment and HR‑related legal advice, including appointment letters, consultancy agreements and employment contracts.
• Review HR policies for labour law compliance and support corporate compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Law graduate with 2–4 years of full‑time post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience handling commercial contracts and corporate compliance in a corporate environment.
• Strong command of contract drafting and review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Effective time management, accountability and ownership of workstreams.
• Bar license preferred but not mandatory.
