Legal Executive – Real Estate Due Diligence (Delhi/Bangalore)

About the role

Volody, an AI‑powered LegalTech company, is seeking experienced Due Diligence Lawyers to join its team in Delhi or Bangalore. You will lead comprehensive legal due diligence for residential, commercial and industrial property transactions, leveraging the company’s AI platforms to improve accuracy and speed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full legal due diligence for various property types.
• Perform title verification and prepare Title Search Reports (TSRs), Title Investigation Reports (TIRs) and Due Diligence Reports (DDRs).
• Examine ownership records, encumbrances, revenue and municipal documents.
• Review sale, conveyance, lease, gift deeds, development agreements and powers of attorney.
• Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, government authorities, local advocates and internal teams to obtain documents and clarifications.
• Support acquisitions, financing, leasing and real‑estate investment transactions.
• Ensure compliance with central and state land‑property laws.
• Maintain accuracy, quality and timely delivery of reports.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to enhance due‑diligence processes using AI‑enabled platforms.

Required profile

• LL.B. from a recognized university (LL.M. is a plus).
• 2–6 years of post‑qualification experience in real‑estate due diligence.
• Currently employed at a reputable law firm handling title search and property due diligence.
• Strong knowledge of land and property laws, registration procedures and real‑estate documentation.
• Proven experience preparing Title Search Reports, Due Diligence Reports and legal opinions.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical and research abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict timelines.
