Legal Executive – Entry Level (Media & Regulatory)

About the role

Republic Media Network is looking for an enthusiastic Legal Executive to join its Legal & Regulatory Affairs team in Noida. This entry‑level position is ideal for a recent LL.B. graduate with a strong academic foundation and a keen interest in media, corporate, and regulatory law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, vet, and review commercial contracts, content licensing agreements, vendor engagements, NDAs, and service‑level agreements.
• Assist in managing litigation, arbitration, and regulatory documentation.
• Respond to legal notices, regulatory queries, and statutory correspondence.
• Conduct legal research on media laws, intellectual property rights, labour regulations, and industry‑specific compliance.
• Maintain legal records, contract trackers, and litigation logs ensuring version control and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and internal teams for timely resolution of legal matters.
• Support policy drafting and review for internal governance (e.g., Code of Conduct, POSH, employment policies, SOPs).
• Assist in legal due diligence and documentation for investments, mergers, and business structuring.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university (mandatory).
• 3–4 years of relevant internship or work experience in legal functions.
• Qualified Company Secretary (CS) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory frameworks.
• High attention to detail, professional integrity, and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with the MCA portal.
• Experience using legal research databases such as SCC and Manupatra.
