About the role

The Legal Counsellor – SAHAS Help Desk will provide specialised legal guidance and rights‑based counselling on workplace sexual harassment matters under the POSH Act. The role supports both complainants and organisations, ensuring informed, timely and sensitive handling of complaints in line with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Offer procedural assistance and advisory support to individuals filing complaints.
• Guide organisations on lawful, compliant and empathetic management of harassment cases.
• Interpret and apply the POSH Act to real‑world scenarios.
• Prepare and review documentation related to complaints and resolutions.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards throughout the counselling process.

Required profile

• Legal qualification with knowledge of Indian labour law and the POSH Act.
• Experience in handling workplace harassment cases or similar advisory roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to counsel sensitively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
