Legal Counsel

About the role

Join a US‑headquartered product company expanding its India hub as an in‑house Legal Counsel. You will act as the primary legal partner for product, commercial and corporate teams, handling contracts and risk decisions that keep the business moving.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor and partner agreements.
• Advise on data‑privacy, intellectual‑property and product‑licensing matters.
• Create and maintain contract templates, playbooks and standards.
• Partner with sales, product and finance on day‑to‑day legal queries.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of post‑qualification experience in commercial or corporate law.
• LLB with enrolment as an advocate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote‑work setup.
