Legal Counsel III – Product (Hybrid)

About the role

The Counsel III is an intermediate‑level attorney position providing legal guidance and thought leadership to the business. The role combines a pragmatic, proactive approach with deep knowledge of the jurisdictions where the firm operates, delivering commercially practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on strategic initiatives, interpreting relevant laws, regulations and industry practices.
• Negotiate and prepare ISDA Master Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreements, securities lending agreements and related documentation.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews to ensure enforceability of agreements and compliance with capital rules.
• Collaborate with internal business lines, risk, compliance and external counsel to manage legal, regulatory and reputational risk.
• Support global documentation, remediation projects and contract‑management processes for AP Markets.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably banking law.
• Bar license in good standing to practice law.
• Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
