About the role
We are seeking a Legal Associate to join our team remotely, focusing on venture capital, private equity and corporate law matters. The role sits at the intersection of law, venture capital and technology, offering exposure to a variety of investment and regulatory projects.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review VC/PE transaction documents.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI (AIF), FEMA and Companies Act regulations.
- Handle investment and portfolio company legal matters.
- Support regulatory compliance and transaction execution for venture-backed deals.
Required profile
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) from a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
- Experience in private equity, venture capital, M&A or corporate law.
Required skills
- Knowledge of SEBI (AIF) regulations.
- Familiarity with FEMA and the Companies Act.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating VC/PE transaction documentation.
