Legal Associate – Technology, Media & Telecom

About the role

MCM Law, a Bengaluru‑based firm specializing in technology and technology‑enabled sectors, is looking for a Legal Associate to support its Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) practice. The role involves advising founders, funds and global technology companies on complex commercial and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of technology licence agreements, cloud computing contracts, data protection and IT outsourcing/BPO arrangements.
• Provide commercially‑focused legal advice on online gaming, e‑commerce and other digital business models.
• Manage client engagements and coordinate service delivery with associates.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of post‑qualification experience, with at least 2 years in technology‑focused legal work.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess business and legal risks in contracts.
• Strategic and critical thinking with a high degree of independence.
