Legal Associate – Litigation & Advisory

About the role

Lynx Legal Partners LLP is seeking a full‑time Associate to handle litigation and advisory matters across its expanding practice. Operating from the Mumbai and Vasai offices, the Associate will manage a dual portfolio of matters, taking direct responsibility for named clients and gaining exposure to cross‑disciplinary mandates in a modern, technology‑enabled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Making appearances before courts, tribunals and statutory authorities.
• Drafting pleadings, applications, replies, affidavits, statutory and demand notices, and related correspondence.
• Drafting, vetting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements.
• Preparing employment, workplace‑compliance and data‑protection documentation.
• Managing intellectual‑property portfolios and related disputes.
• Maintaining cause‑list and limitation diary, matter files and client correspondence.
• Providing legal research and drafting support to the firm’s allied initiatives such as dispute resolution, academic publishing and compliance advisory.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
• Ability to manage a matter autonomously from instruction to conclusion.
• Practical familiarity with court and registry procedures.
• Proficiency in drafting clear, correct English with accurate legal citation.
• Strong analytical judgment to identify material issues early.
• Readiness to work across litigation, corporate, intellectual‑property and data‑protection matters.
• Comfort with a modern, tech‑enabled practice and understanding of commercial and regulatory contexts.
• Preference for candidates residing in Mumbai’s Western Suburbs; willingness to indicate office preference.
• Knowledge of Marathi, English and Hindi is an advantage, especially for the Vasai office.
