Legal Associate – Litigation & Advisory

About the role

ATA Advocates & Legal Consultants is seeking a full‑time Legal Associate to join its Lucknow office. The role involves supporting senior advocates across civil, criminal, commercial and cyber litigation, providing research, drafting and case preparation assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, petitions, legal notices, agreements and advisory notes.
• Conduct legal research, analyse case law and prepare case briefs.
• Organise and maintain case files, documents and evidence.
• Assist senior lawyers during hearings before courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies.
• Support the preparation of strategic arguments and client communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
• Enrollment with a State Bar Council and eligibility to practice before courts.
• Sound knowledge of civil, criminal, commercial and cyber law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines and work in a fast‑paced litigation environment.
• High standards of professional ethics, confidentiality and client‑focused conduct.
