Legal Associate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Legal Associate with 1–2 years of experience to support our legal team in Bangalore. The role involves drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, handling litigation and consumer matters, and providing practical legal advice to business units.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and maintain a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor, dealership, service agreements, NDAs, MoUs and lease agreements.
• Support litigation, arbitration and consumer dispute matters, preparing legal notices, pleadings, affidavits and coordinating with external counsel.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations and case law, and provide risk assessments and practical recommendations.
• Maintain contract repositories, track key obligations, renewals and expiry dates, and assist in standardising legal templates.
• Assist compliance initiatives, prepare checklists, internal guidelines and monitor contractual and data‑protection compliance.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree from a recognised institution.
• 1–2 years of post‑qualification experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or similar role.
• Experience in legal drafting, contract review, litigation support and handling consumer matters.
• Strong research, analytical and communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Kannada preferred, Tamil an advantage.
