Legal Advisor – Real Estate Transactions

About the role

The Legal Advisor (Real Estate) will provide legal guidance on real‑estate transactions, documentation and compliance for the firm’s clients. This full‑time, on‑site position in Gurugram requires close collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders and client organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate real‑estate contracts, agreements and deeds.
• Advise on land acquisition, lease, sale and property development matters.
• Ensure compliance with property, municipal and regulatory laws.
• Conduct legal due‑diligence and prepare clear legal opinions and reports.
• Manage and resolve property‑related disputes.
• Coordinate with government authorities and external counsel as needed.
• Support risk assessment and establish sound documentation standards for real‑estate projects.

Required profile

• LL.B degree; LL.M in real‑estate or commercial law is a plus.
• Prior experience as a Legal Advisor, Legal Associate or similar role in real‑estate, infrastructure or construction.
• Strong foundation in property and real‑estate regulations and labor‑employment law as it relates to projects.
• Excellent research, analytical and negotiation abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Gurugram, manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing legal notes and reports.
