Ledger Validation Analyst – Controllers (Bengaluru)

About the role

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Ledger Validation Analyst to join its Controllers team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on reconciliations, regulatory compliance and supporting audit processes across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations and posting pattern analysis for various business units.
• Support regulatory tasks, compliance requests, and audit responses.
• Conduct new‑business impact analysis and become a subject‑matter expert in ledger processes.
• Participate in AI automation projects, including testing and execution.
• Provide senior management with control indicators to assess economic, regulatory and operational risks.
• Maintain integrity of the General Ledger and Sub‑Ledger through inter‑company and intra‑company monitoring.
• Liaise with regulators and auditors during audit processes.

Required profile

• Strong interest in finance, accounting and risk control functions.
• Ability to work with multiple business units and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for daily reconciliation tasks.
• Willingness to develop expertise in AI‑driven automation and testing.
