Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of all training initiatives for hotel staff, ensuring they align with Accor’s philosophy of recognizing and valuing talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee the annual training plan and learning budget, ensuring strategic alignment with organisational goals.
• Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analyses with department heads to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
• Design, coordinate and deliver engaging training programmes across all levels, using a variety of delivery methods and platforms.
• Manage and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS) for seamless enrollment, tracking and accessibility.
• Measure training effectiveness through data‑driven metrics and feedback, recommending continuous improvements.
• Lead employee engagement and development initiatives that foster an inclusive learning culture.
• Oversee relationships with external training vendors to ensure quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging learning technologies, implementing innovative solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on training outcomes and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2‑3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to align training initiatives with business objectives in a hospitality environment.
