Lead Technology Risk Analyst

About the role

Mastercard’s Payment Networks team is looking for a hands‑on Lead Technology Risk Analyst to drive ISO 27001 certification, controls assurance and risk management across critical payment platforms. Based in Pune, you will work with a seasoned group of security, risk, compliance and payments experts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with design and operational procedures, ensuring they remain current and effective.
• Gather, document and analyse information‑security and technology metrics.
• Identify, test and report security weaknesses in systems and applications.
• Participate in the risk‑management process, updating risk registers and preparing internal risk reports.
• Maintain knowledge of security policies and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and GDPR.
• Develop, deliver and monitor IT policies, standards and best practices.
• Govern enterprise‑wide vulnerability remediation and support special projects as needed.
• Build effective relationships with auditors, control owners and functional teams.

Required profile

• Experience supporting information‑security, IT audit or IT risk‑management functions.
• Familiarity with risk‑management processes and mitigation methods.
• Understanding of IT and security controls, networking and information‑security technologies.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF and PCI DSS.
• Background in creating and maintaining security policies, processes and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
