Lead Software Developer (Financial Research)

About the role

The Lead Software Developer will guide a team and build full‑stack web applications for CFRA’s next‑generation financial research platform, using React, TypeScript, Python and AWS cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript and Python on AWS.
• Lead and mentor a skilled development team throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product owners and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose solutions.
• Review and validate designs, perform debugging, performance analysis and resolve production issues.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of full‑stack development experience on enterprise web applications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in financial equity research or CFA designation is a strong plus.
