Lead Salesforce Full Stack AI Engineer

About the role

Elastic is seeking a Lead Salesforce Engineer who blends deep architectural intuition with clean coding and AI‑native workflows. You will work across the full stack, from Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms to modern front‑end and back‑end services, delivering reliable production solutions that automate critical revenue processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship end‑to‑end full‑stack features, including UI, APIs, business logic, data models, and integrations.
• Develop modern front‑end experiences (component‑based UI, responsive design) and robust back‑end services using object‑oriented principles.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) throughout the SDLC for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and debugging.
• Implement integrations via REST APIs, event‑driven patterns, and enterprise integration practices.
• Develop on Salesforce using Lightning Web Components, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and adhere to the platform’s security model.
• Explore and build AI‑powered automation features such as Agent Builder and workflow agents with proper governance.

Required profile

• 12+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Daily hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted coding tools and ability to evaluate AI‑generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to design and deliver scalable solutions independently.
