About the role

The incumbent is responsible for protecting and enhancing the Hyderabad Airport brand reputation through strategic media relations, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management. The role drives impactful storytelling, manages media networks, monitors public sentiment, and delivers communication strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and drive the communication strategy for Hyderabad Airport and its subsidiaries, develop a story bank, and coordinate with internal teams to craft compelling narratives.
• Organise press conferences, media visits, familiarisation trips and media dinners to maximise coverage across print, digital and broadcast platforms.
• Lead ESG‑focused media campaigns, manage partnerships with industry associations and secure positive coverage of sustainability initiatives.
• Develop and maintain content calendars, produce press releases, articles, op‑eds and blog posts, ensuring consistent messaging.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and senior executives to align media narratives with organisational priorities.
• Maintain media lists, produce regular news and competitor analysis reports, and update story banks to keep insights current.
• Implement crisis communication plans, provide swift factual responses during incidents and monitor reputational risk.
• Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers and influencers to secure high‑quality media coverage.

Required profile

• Masters or PG Diploma in Journalism, Media Communication, Marketing or Public Relations from a reputed institute.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, PR agencies or national media houses.
• Telugu language proficiency is desirable.
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership, cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
