Lead Faculty – Computer Science & IT

About the role

The Lead Faculty – Computer Science & IT will provide academic and technical leadership for designing, developing, and continuously enhancing industry‑aligned technology programmes delivered through the College Connect business. This senior position shapes curriculum, mentors faculty, and bridges academia with industry to ensure programmes remain contemporary and outcome‑driven.

Key responsibilities

• Lead academic design and continuous improvement of Computer Science and IT programmes, aligning them with NEP, OBE, AICTE guidelines and industry expectations.
• Review and validate curriculum, lab manuals, projects, assessments and learning resources to ensure alignment with Course Outcomes, Program Outcomes and graduate attributes.
• Mentor internal Subject Matter Experts and trainers on pedagogy, instructional methodologies and learner engagement through Faculty Development Programs and Train‑the‑Trainer sessions.
• Collaborate with universities, engineering colleges and academic leadership to understand curriculum requirements, participate in advisory boards and recommend industry‑aligned projects, certifications, hackathons and internships.
• Drive adoption of innovative pedagogical approaches such as flipped classrooms, project‑based learning, virtual laboratories, coding challenges and experiential learning.
• Monitor emerging technology trends and integrate relevant topics into programmes to enhance graduate employability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in academic leadership within Computer Science, Information Technology or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development frameworks (NEP, OBE, AICTE) and ability to align learning outcomes with industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor faculty and deliver effective training programmes.
• Experience collaborating with higher‑education institutions and industry partners to design experiential learning initiatives.
• Track record of driving curriculum innovation and integrating emerging technologies into academic programmes.
