About the role
Lead Engineer responsible for design, coordination, planning and delivery of civil and hydraulic engineering projects at AECOM in Gurgaon.
Key responsibilities
- Support design, coordination, planning and completion of engineering projects.
- Manage project design deliverables, supervise junior engineers and modelers, and direct staff in preparing contract documents.
- Check work quality, modify workplans to maintain QA/QC, and monitor task time to avoid overruns.
- Explore automation of repetitive work and support computational design efforts.
Required profile
- 6‑10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Knowledge of Indian codes; familiarity with US, BS, Eurocodes is a plus.
- Undergraduate degree in civil/hydraulics/environmental engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, time and people management skills.
Required skills
- Sewer Gem, Water GEM, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Programming willingness; Python, Rhino, Grasshopper are a plus.
