Lead Development Architect - SAP BTP

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Development Architect to own end‑to‑end solution architecture on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will translate business requirements into robust, production‑ready solutions while driving technical excellence across a remote, pan‑India team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain solution architecture from design through release and production support.
• Lead development using SAP CAP, SAPUI5, OData V4, SAP HANA Cloud and related BTP services.
• Ensure clean architecture, technical boundaries, Clean Core principles and SAP best practices.
• Oversee release readiness on Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtimes, including CI/CD, monitoring and operational readiness.
• Guarantee platform compliance with security, scalability, performance and observability standards.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled features using SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub and related tooling.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews and remove blockers.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to align priorities and explain architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior architect or lead developer roles.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise applications on SAP BTP across multiple releases.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding assistants and sound judgment on quality, testing and security.
• Ability to set technical direction while contributing code in critical areas.
