Lead Deployment Engineer

About the role

Celonis is looking for a Lead Deployment Engineer to drive AI‑augmented delivery of its Process Mining platform for enterprise customers. You will combine deep platform expertise with AI tools to design, build and validate solutions that generate measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hands‑on implementation of Celonis solutions, directing AI agents to build data models, analyses, KPIs and operational dashboards.
• Conduct discovery workshops, define project scope, data requirements and success criteria with customers.
• Validate AI‑generated outputs, ensure business relevance and adapt specifications to customer context.
• Drive adoption by training users, documenting designs and managing project timelines.
• Develop domain expertise and create reusable solution patterns for specific industries or processes.

Required profile

• 8+ years in management or IT consulting, data/solution consulting or process improvement.
• Strong consulting skills: run workshops, present to senior stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and quantify impact.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and core processes such as Order‑to‑Cash or Procure‑to‑Pay.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Required skills

• PQL, SQL and Python for data modeling and analysis.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) and prompt/context engineering.
