Lead Data Validation Specialist

About the role

Addepar is looking for a Lead Data Validation Specialist to manage a team that ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data during new client onboarding. This behind‑the‑scenes role focuses on consistent data quality, process improvement, and collaboration across global functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Data Validation Specialists, providing regular feedback and career guidance.
• Allocate work, prioritize tasks, and oversee execution to meet project deadlines with high quality.
• Review and audit validation projects to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Drive process improvements that increase data throughput, reduce turnaround time, and enhance scalability.
• Create and maintain documentation, templates, and SOPs for data validation activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain a personal portfolio of data validation projects, performing hands‑on review and reconciliation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math, Economics, or a related data‑oriented field.
• 3+ years of experience in data validation, financial operations, or data quality assurance.
• At least 1 year of people‑leadership or team‑coordination experience (preferred).
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a track record of accuracy in high‑volume environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Legal authorization to work in India on the first day of employment; no visa sponsorship available.
