Lead Data Analyst

About the role

Cohere Health is looking for a hands‑on technical manager to lead a team that builds and maintains high‑quality healthcare market datasets. The Lead Data Analyst will combine people leadership with deep analytics expertise to deliver reliable data pipelines and actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of data analysts responsible for creating, validating, and refreshing healthcare market datasets.
• Establish analytic standards, coding practices, documentation, and governance processes including versioning and auditability.
• Define and enforce data quality standards across ingestion, transformation, and analysis workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams to ensure scalable infrastructure for data pipelines.
• Translate analytic outputs into business insights, benchmarks, and structured datasets that support product strategy and commercial enablement.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience in data analytics, data science, or quantitative analysis in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib) and advanced SQL querying on large datasets.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent analytics projects and leading a team of analysts.
• Experience with data quality, governance, and lifecycle management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
