Lead Auditor ISMS (ISO 27001:2022)

About the role

The Lead Auditor ISMS will conduct value‑added audits of clients against ISO 27001:2022 requirements, ensuring compliance with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, Code of Ethics and Group policies. The role involves planning, executing and reporting audits while maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory and technological changes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits in line with ISO 19011, Bureau Veritas Management System and BVC India Operations Manual.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and emerging technologies relevant to the audit scope.
• Manage the full audit cycle, from planning through to timely reporting.
• Collaborate with the audit team leader as a team member and, when acting as lead auditor, direct the audit team effectively.
• Report any unexpected situations, schedule changes or disputes to the reporting line and back‑office.
• Follow client‑confirmed schedules and protect company assets such as laptops and accessories.
• Submit travel and expense statements promptly and adhere to the terms of the appointment letter.
• Comply with BV Cardinal Safety Rules and company HSE policies, reporting any incidents immediately.

Required profile

• Engineering or Science graduate (or postgraduate).
• Minimum four years of full‑time IT experience, including at least two years in information security.
• Successful completion of an IRCA‑approved ISMS Lead Auditor course.
• Experience conducting internal or external audits (preferred).
