Lead Analyst - US Corporate Credit & Financial Analysis

About the role

The Lead Analyst will join the Research & Analysis function of ANZ's Institutional bank, supporting a diversified portfolio of mid‑market enterprise clients across multiple sectors. This permanent position is based in Manyata Tech, Bengaluru and focuses on end‑to‑end credit management for US‑focused corporate customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis for corporate clients.
• Identify and manage risks within a client’s capital structure, ownership and financial performance.
• Prepare high‑quality credit papers, including industry and company analysis.
• Maintain and update risk grading and perform event‑driven reviews.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit teams and Legal to ensure accurate documentation and deal structuring.
• Monitor the portfolio to stay within defined risk and quality parameters (well‑managed framework).

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in corporate credit analysis, preferably within banking.
• Exposure to the US market and strong understanding of US corporate credit dynamics.
• Proven ability to perform financial statement analysis and risk assessment.
• Solid business acumen and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
