Lead Analyst – Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Research & Analysis

About the role

As a Lead Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Research & Analysis team, you will lead end‑to‑end research, credit assessment and risk monitoring for complex FIG clients, including banks and non‑bank financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality Annual Review Credit Memorandums (ARCM) for FI clients, with a focus on the insurance segment.
• Produce Financial Monitoring Diary Notes (FMDN), Risk Grade Review Events (RGREs) and other industry‑specific analyses in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures and processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Relationship Managers, R&A Associates and Risk Executives to identify and mitigate key risks in credit proposals.
• Participate in risk‑management forums and provide insightful updates on portfolio and industry trends.
• Execute additional credit‑management activities as directed by the team.

Required profile

• 4+ years of relevant experience in FIG research and analysis with strong credit analysis capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality, governance and process discipline.
• Sound risk awareness and judgement, with the ability to identify and appropriately escalate issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Team‑oriented mindset, capable of collaborating with in‑country teams, Relationship Managers and other partners.
