Last Mile Executive

About the role

The Last Mile Executive (LME) ensures timely pickup, safe transport, and delivery of patient samples from hospitals, clinics, franchisees and other client sites to AVM Labs laboratories. Operating under strict cold‑chain requirements, the LME maintains sample integrity while providing professional on‑site representation of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Collect patient samples from designated locations and keep them within the 2 °C–8 °C temperature range using the company‑provided chiller box and ice/gel packs.
• Record temperature at pickup and before hand‑over, and immediately report any deviations.
• Deliver samples to the laboratory within the defined turnaround times (intra‑city ≤3 h, inter‑city ≤18 h, CRL ≤38 h).
• Represent AVM Labs professionally, wearing the uniform and ID badge, and handle client queries courteously.
• Follow assigned routes, monitor pickup and delivery schedules, and maintain accurate logs of temperature, pickup times and hand‑overs.
• Maintain regular attendance, notify supervisors of leave or emergencies, and ensure proper hand‑over of pending tasks.

• Attention to sample safety and temperature control.
• Willingness to travel across assigned client locations and maintain a professional appearance.
