About the role
We are seeking a Landside Transportation Associate to support Maersk L&S Store Door services. The role involves working under pressure to meet shipping cut‑offs and ensuring a seamless experience for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Control transportation unit costs by selecting the optimal mix of vendors.
- Identify and resolve revenue leakage within the system.
- Lead end‑to‑end adoption of the Fleetx TMS and future SAP TMS for live tracking and indent management.
- Produce daily status reports from transporters for MIS and operational visibility.
- Verify transportation invoices for accuracy and forward them to finance for timely processing.
- Follow up with finance to ensure vendor payments meet agreed timelines.
- Develop innovative control‑tower solutions to improve customer service.
Required profile
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict shipping deadlines.
- Strong collaboration with internal teams (procurement, product, customer service, sales) and external parties (customers, customs, port staff).
- Good understanding of the L&S and delivery ecosystem.
Required skills
- Experience with Fleetx transportation management system.
- Familiarity with SAP TMS.
