Laboratory Technician – Quality Testing

About the role

MN Polyester, a manufacturer of unsaturated polyester resins, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support quality testing, laboratory operations, and regulatory documentation. The role involves hands‑on testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate test records and promptly report any deviations.
• Assist in preparing, organising, and filing regulatory and compliance paperwork.
• Keep laboratory equipment clean, maintain equipment records, and coordinate calibration and servicing as required.
• Ensure a safe, organised laboratory, tracking chemicals, consumables, and other supplies.

Required profile

• Basic laboratory skills with strong attention to detail.
• Responsible approach to testing, documentation, and equipment care.
• Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Excel.
• Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing or quality‑control laboratory is advantageous.
