Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support our clinical laboratory operations in Ahmedabad. The role involves operating laboratory instruments, handling patient samples, and ensuring accurate and reliable test results.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through proper quality‑control procedures.
• Identify and report abnormal or critical test results to senior medical professionals.
• Maintain laboratory registers, test reports, patient records, and quality‑control documentation.
• Follow proper sample handling, infection‑control, biosafety, and biomedical waste disposal procedures.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration checks, and troubleshooting according to SOPs.
• Maintain adequate stock of reagents, consumables, and laboratory supplies.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, phlebotomists, and other laboratory staff.

Required profile

• Relevant degree(s) in a medical or laboratory field.
• Ability to operate basic clinical/medical laboratory instruments.
• Proficiency in using laboratory software and collecting blood samples.
• Good communication skills and ability to drive a two‑wheeler.
