Laboratory Technician

About the role

Neuberg Diagnostics is seeking a full‑time Laboratory Technician to work on‑site in Jammu. The role involves performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, handling specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation of results.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests following standard operating procedures.
• Handle, label, and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Document test results accurately and maintain proper records.
• Follow safety, infection‑control, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support quality‑control processes and monitor reagent inventory.
• Collaborate with pathologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in workflow improvement and troubleshoot technical issues.

Required profile

• Strong laboratory skills with experience in specimen handling and test execution.
• Hands‑on experience operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of quality‑control practices and ability to follow protocols.
• Analytical ability to interpret results and identify inconsistencies.
• Prior experience as a laboratory technician or in a similar clinical setting.
• Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related life‑science field.
• Understanding of safety, infection‑control, and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication and collaborative attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
