L2 Support Engineer – Associate

About the role

Delta Capita is looking for a technically strong L2 Support Engineer to provide 24x7 production support for critical enterprise applications. The role involves incident ownership, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for business‑critical applications and resolve incidents within SLA.
• Perform end‑to‑end transaction tracing, root‑cause analysis and support major incident recovery (P1/P2).
• Troubleshoot application, database, API, messaging and integration issues across Java/Tomcat, SQL, MQ, Kafka and REST/SOAP services.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, DBA, Middleware, Security and Business teams for releases, changes and post‑release validation.
• Monitor application health using Dynatrace and Splunk, create dashboards and alerts, and drive automation and resiliency initiatives.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery drills, vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of application/production support experience, preferably in a 24x7 environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across application, middleware and infrastructure layers.
• Experience with highly integrated enterprise applications, preferably in banking or financial services.
