Kubernetes / DevOps Engineer

About the role

IMESH is looking for a full‑time remote Kubernetes / DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain Kubernetes‑based infrastructure that powers its service‑mesh, cloud‑networking and observability solutions. You will work closely with Platform, SRE and Development teams to ensure secure, scalable and resilient deployments across multiple clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, workloads and networking components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve performance and networking issues.
• Maintain system health, create runbooks and documentation, and participate in on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional experience in system administration, Linux and container environments.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals (Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, Namespaces, Workloads).
• Good grasp of networking concepts across L3, L4 and L7, including routing, load balancing and traffic management.
• Hands‑on experience with TLS/SSL, PKI, Certificate Authorities and cert‑manager.
• Self‑motivated, eager to learn new cloud‑native technologies and comfortable in a fast‑paced engineering setting.
