Kitchen Staff – Food Service Operations

About the role

Join Opaa! Food Management as a Kitchen Staff member to support breakfast, lunch, and occasional catering services across our Midwest locations. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, ensuring food is prepared, held, and served safely and attractively.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain serving lines, ensuring food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare menu items, including baked goods, according to Opaa! recipes and daily plans.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Record production data, temperature logs, and comply with HACCP and CACFP regulations.
• Assist with catering functions and support the Kitchen Manager in requisitioning supplies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures.
• Attention to detail for accurate temperature monitoring and record‑keeping.
