Kitchen Helper

About the role

The Kitchen Helper will join Taazabites’ Bengaluru kitchen to support daily food production. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing ingredients, assisting cooks, and ensuring a clean, hygienic environment for high‑protein meals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare basic food items and assist cooks during meal production.
• Organize ingredients and supplies, restock stations, and support plating and packing of meals.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing and sanitizing utensils and equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and front‑of‑house team to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Required profile

• Strong skills in food preparation and cooking, with interest in healthy, nutrition‑focused cuisine.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices, including proper cleaning and sanitisation.
• Understanding of basic food & beverage operations and kitchen workflows.
• Customer service orientation to support internal teams and occasional guests.
• Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Prior experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bengaluru with flexible schedules, including weekends and peak hours.
