KG Assistant Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a KG Assistant Teacher to support the KG Class Teacher at CS Academy, Coimbatore. The role involves creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for kindergarten children, assisting with academic activities, classroom management and basic childcare in line with CBSE early childhood guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the KG Class Teacher in daily classroom activities and lessons.
• Support children in learning basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, shapes and rhymes.
• Help with classroom management, discipline and smooth transitions between activities.
• Provide individual attention during classwork, playtime and learning activities.
• Assist children with personal care needs including hygiene, meals and nap time.
• Prepare and organize teaching aids, worksheets, toys and learning materials.
• Maintain child safety, cleanliness and hygiene within the classroom.
• Help organize celebrations, events and co‑curricular activities.
• Communicate observations about student behaviour and progress to the class teacher.
• Follow CBSE early childhood guidelines and school policies.
