Key User – General Ledger (S/4HANA)

About the role

We are looking for a Key User (KU) specialized in General Ledger accounting on SAP S/4HANA to support the finance transformation of Bosch’s Indian operations. The role will bridge business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring accurate migration, compliance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as functional expert for General Ledger in SAP S/4HANA, supporting unit, integration and UAT testing cycles.
• Validate and cleanse GL configuration, ledgers, document splitting, financial statement structures and account determination during migration from R/3 to S/4HANA.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and accurate balance migration with detailed breakdowns.
• Document processes, develop Power BI dashboards, and explore automation opportunities.
• Conduct end‑user training, update DTPs, and create training material for the B2P organization.

Required profile

• Cost & Management Accountant (ICMAI) or Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or MBA in Finance (non‑correspondence) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance, preferably within SAP FI/GL environments.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, matrix‑type organizations.

Required skills

• Proficient in SAP FI – General Ledger Accounting on S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of parallel accounting, ledgers, document splitting and universal journal concepts.
• Ability to analyse financial data and configure GL settings.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
