Key User – General Ledger (S/4HANA)

About the role

We are looking for a Key User (KU) specialized in General Ledger accounting on SAP S/4HANA to join our finance team in Bangalore. You will act as the functional expert, ensuring smooth migration, configuration, and reporting for our global finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP S/4HANA FI & GL functional expert, supporting unit, integration, and UAT testing cycles.
• Validate and cleanse GL configuration, document splitting, ledger settings, and master data during migration from R3 to S/4.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and accurate balance migration with detailed breakdowns.
• Document processes, develop Power BI dashboards, and drive standardisation and automation initiatives.
• Conduct end‑user training, update training materials, and support the B2P organization on S/4 accounting and reporting.

Required profile

• Cost & Management Accountant (ICMAI) or Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or MBA in Finance (non‑correspondence) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance, preferably with SAP FI/GL.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, matrix environments.
