Key Account Manager – West Region, Industrial Electrical & Fluid Power

About the role

The Key Account Manager for the West Region will lead SKF’s Industrial Electrical and Fluid Power business in Pune and surrounding territories. Reporting to the DGM Sales, you will be responsible for driving growth, margin and customer satisfaction across key industrial accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Drive SKF’s key‑account management process and tools to meet annual growth and margin targets.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive key‑account strategy, including forecasts and plans aligned with SKF’s corporate objectives.
• Gain a holistic understanding of customers’ needs, map organisations at all levels and identify high‑value opportunities.
• Create and deliver value‑based offers that result in win‑win outcomes for both SKF and the customer.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets through OEM partnerships within the assigned region and segment.
• Act as the primary business contact for customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long‑term relationships.
• Maintain a travel schedule of 50‑60 % of the time to visit customers across the territory.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial electric motors or related industrial sectors.
• Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a territory and drive sales growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Domain knowledge of industrial electrical and fluid power products.
