Key Account Manager – Metals (East)

About the role

SKF is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager for the Metals segment in the Eastern region of India. Based in Kolkata, you will act as the primary business contact for key industrial customers, driving growth and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire a holistic understanding of key customers’ needs and map the customer organization at all levels.
• Drive SKF’s key account management processes and tools to achieve annual revenue and margin targets.
• Identify and develop value‑based offers that create win‑win outcomes for both SKF and the customer.
• Serve as the main point of contact, nurturing strategic relationships to become a trusted long‑term partner.
• Monitor and improve wallet share, new business bookings, and customer ratings.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen with solid financial knowledge.
• Deep understanding of industry processes, product segments, and applications within the metals sector.
• Excellent market and customer orientation, with the ability to engage CXOs and senior management.
