Key Account Manager – MedTech Sales

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead MedTech sales in the Guwahati and Kolkata territories. The role focuses on building strong relationships with doctors, key opinion leaders and distributors while driving revenue for ophthalmic products.

Key responsibilities

• Cover all targeted customers in the assigned territory and conduct detailed profiling.
• Select and promote products tailored to each customer’s needs.
• Execute marketing strategies in coordination with the Area Manager and Product Specialists.
• Generate revenue to meet and exceed the business plan, tracking daily activities and market‑share metrics.
• Develop new customers, monitor competitor actions, and handle customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of usage patterns, sales calls (4 regular + 2 cold calls per day), and market data.
• Support the Area Manager in strengthening relationships with key opinion leaders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MedTech or medical device sales, preferably within ophthalmology.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with doctors, KOLs and distributors.
• Strong analytical mindset to track market share, competitor activity and sales performance.
• Results‑driven with a track record of meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
