Key Account Manager – Marketplaces

About the role

As a Key Account Manager – Marketplaces you will drive growth of major e‑commerce and quick‑commerce platforms in India, acting as the primary liaison between Plum and its marketplace partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end business for assigned marketplace accounts and serve as the main point of contact.
• Build strong relationships with platform teams to create joint business plans and sustain long‑term growth.
• Plan, negotiate and execute commercial agreements, promotions and visibility opportunities.
• Drive revenue, profitability and market share while managing budgets for optimal ROI.
• Partner with Marketing to design impactful campaigns and platform activations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure healthy inventory, seamless fulfilment and high service levels.
• Monitor assortment, pricing, availability and content to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Analyse sales trends, campaign performance and customer insights to identify opportunities and recommend growth strategies.
• Prepare business reviews, performance reports and growth plans for internal and external stakeholders.
• Champion Plum’s brand positioning and maintain consistent visibility across marketplace touchpoints.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing marketplace or e‑commerce accounts.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with ability to turn insights into business decisions.
• Confident negotiator with proven stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
